Nevada 160

Nevada 160 at Junction Interstate 15. Photo taken 12/12/00.
Eastbound Nevada 160 at Junction Nevada 604. This marks the southern (eastern) terminus of Nevada 160. Photo taken 12/12/00.

Northbound Nevada 160 at Junction Nevada 372 in Pahrump. Making a left here takes motorists to Shoshone and Death Valley via California 178. Straight ahead, Nevada 372 connects with U.S. 95 just northwest of Indian Springs. This is the main traffic light in the town of Pahrump. Photos taken 1/21/02.
Begin Westbound Nevada 160 shield assembly just south of the U.S. 95 junction near Indian Springs. Even though this shield marks Nevada 160 as an east-west route, it really loops around by traveling south into Pahrump and then east into the southern part of the Las Vegas metropolitan area. So, it almost seems like an error to call this westbound, but there is enough of a southwesterly curve here to justify calling it westbound at this point. Note the 70 mile-per-hour speed limit, which is common for two-lane highways in Nevada such as this one. Photo taken 1/21/02.
