The RockyMountainRoads.com branch of AARoads covers the Interstates, U.S. Highways, and State Highways of the Desert Southwest, the Great Basin, and the Rocky Mountain States. From the Mojave Desert to Grand Junction, Colorado, RockyMountainRoads focuses on the highway system that joins the communities, deserts, and national parks throughout the Inner Mountain West. Our Nevada and Wyoming Highway Pages provide detailed information on the state highway systems, road history, and major construction projects.
Our goal is to cover the highways in an effort to aid travelers, tourists, and those who are just curious. Forthcoming coverage includes all of Interstate 70 in Utah and portions of western Colorado. Additional guides and photos also are on the way for Interstate 15, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Arizona 85. Comments and questions are welcomed.
