Exit 5 follows suit and leaves Interstate 215 in quick succession for the westbound beginning of Utah 266 (4430 South) at Olympus Hills Park. The state highway begins at Interstate 215 and journeys westward to 4500 South along the northern city limits of Holladay. Photo taken 09/08/05.

Use 6200 East (Utah 190) for Wasatch Range ski resorts. Utah 190 (Big Cottonwood Canyon Road) splits with Utah 210 (Wasatch Boulevard) 1.75 miles to the southeast of Exit 6. From there Utah 190 heads east to the Solitude and Brighton ski areas. Utah 201 meanwhile travels south along Wasatch Boulevard 2.2 miles before turning east onto Little Cottonwood Canyon Road. U.S. 89 (State Street) passes over Interstate 215 one half mile ahead of the south junction with Interstate 15 (Exit 12). Interstate 15 interchanges with Interstate 215 just north of Midvale in southwest Murray. The north-south freeway provides the main route between downtown Salt Lake City and Provo to the south. Interstate 215 maintains six lanes through the Interstate 15 junction, and eight lanes between Exit 12 and Interstate 80 (Exit 22). Three lanes depart Interstate 215 westbound for the directional ramps onto Interstate 15. Downtown Salt Lake City lies eight miles to the north. Provo meanwhile is a 33 mile drive to the southeast.
