Interstate 215 Utah
Interstate 215 provides a bypass route for the city of Salt Lake City. The 28-mile freeway allows Interstate 15 through traffic bound for Odgen or Provo to bypass downtown. The southeastern leg of the highway joins Interstate 15 with Interstate 80 at Parleys Canyon. Historically the southeastern portion of Interstate 215 between Interstate 15 and 80 carried the designation of Interstate 415 between 1962 and 1964.
