Travelers bound for Nevada 227 (Lamoille Highway) from Interstate 80 should take Business Loop Interstate 80 & Nevada 535 west from Exit 303 into downtown Elko. There Idaho Street intersects 5th Street, the northern terminus of Nevada 227. Eastbound Interstate 80 around Milepost 350, just west of Wells. A storm is brewing east of Wells. The small green sign ahead on the right reads, "West Wells, One Mile." Note that the Wells business loop is not signed on the same sign assembly; an auxiliary sign similar to the business loop sign in Reno has been placed between the "West Wells, Two Miles" and "West Wells, One Mile" signs.
