|
|---|
| About five miles east of Peņa Boulevard, eastbound Interstate 70/U.S. 36-40 and southbound U.S. 287 reaches Exit 289, Junction E-470 Tollway. Although both Interstate 70 and E-470 are freeways, E-470 traffic must cross four traffic lights at the frontage roads and ramps for Interstate 70. As traffic counts increase in this area, the E-470/Interstate 70 connection will be expanded to a freeway-to-freeway interchange. Photo taken 02/02/02.
