In addition to serving the college, Exit 1 provides access to the NMSU Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum. The museum lies east of Interstate 25 via Dripping Springs Road. Dripping Springs Road meanders eastward to far reaching subdivisions. Photo taken 01/14/06.

Interstate 25 south defaults onto Interstate 10 toward Mesquite and El Paso, Texas at a tight trumpet interchange. Interstate 10 travels northward from El Paso to Las Cruces before it turns westward at the Interstate 25 south end. The freeway continues west with silent U.S. 180 to Deming and Lordsburg.
