In Moorcroft, the business loop follows U.S. 14-16 through the western part of town and U.S. 16 through the eastern part of town.

Business Loop I-90 and U.S. 16 continue straight ahead together, but they too separate. The business route will return to Interstate 90 en route to Sundance, while U.S. 16 will travel southeast toward Newcastle and Custer, South Dakota. Photo taken 09/02/04.
Business Loop I-90 and U.S. 16 East
After U.S. 14 departs to the northeast, Business Loop I-90 and U.S. 16 (Converse Street) is signed as "To Interstate 90." The split between U.S. 16 and Business Loop I-90 is located a few blocks east of here. Photo taken 09/02/04.
U.S. 16 continues east from here, connecting to Newcastle; Custer, South Dakota; and the Black Hills region. A left turn connects U.S. 16 with Interstate 90, which is the ostensible conclusion of the Interstate 90 business route.
